My style is warm and interactive. If you suffer from symptoms such as insomnia, depression, or anxiety, we first work on reducing these symptoms so you feel better. We then create a plan together to address your goals for ongoing personal growth.

In addition to verbal therapy, I offer mindfulness meditation, sandtray and expressive art therapy. If you are interested, we may begin to practice meditation during your sessions. We may also just practice bringing our kind attention to your experience.

Sandtray invites you to place miniature objects, including people, animals, spiritual symbols, and things from nature, into a tray of sand. Your unconscious may offer you a way to see your journey, your dilemma, or a new vision.

Expressive art helps connect your body and brain for effective healing. When you draw, you can literally see your problems and watch how they change in the course of therapy. Although almost everybody tells me initially they can't draw, most people surprise themselves and get great benefits from art therapy.
