Nourish Your Mood:
7 Ways Food Can Be Your Mood's Best Friend

From the
Nourish Your Mood: Integrative Health Education for Anxiety and Depression series

Many people are seeking natural options for anxiety and depression that also have a scientific basis.
Food can be an essential physical support for calming anxiety and boosting mood.
I’m pleased to share this collection of the ways food can be an essential support for anxiety and depression.   This "7 Ways Food Can Be Your Mood’s Best Friend" mini-ebook draws on the latest science about the microbiome and the gut-brain connection with gentle humor.

Yes, I would like to know the 7 Ways Food Can Be Your Mood's Best Friend. I also would like emails about Nourish Your Mood and mindfulness, please.

I’m Reba Connell (she/they), Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional and clinical social worker (CA LCS 19814). I teach therapists, health care providers, and stressed-out people to balance their mood and investigate the connection between mood and food with curiosity and self-compassion.

I have studied with Dr. Leslie Korn and many of the leaders in Mental Health Nutrition and Functional Medicine.

I have completed professional training in teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction under the direction of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Dr. Saki Santorelli and a training in teaching Mindful Eating through UCSD.  I enjoy sharing Energy Psychology, Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping),  and yoga. I am a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health and of Integrative Medicine for the Underserved.
