during the holidays and COVID-19.
We’ll learn:
- The magic gift of spices: ginger, mint, and pine for mood
- How the Hanukkah miracle of oil might relate to brain health
- Tips on how to ally with the dark of the year to get the rejuvenating sleep you need
- How our amazing bodies come in a normal range of sizes and some of the sneaky influences driving “obesity" talk
- What one of the missing pieces might be to support your:
- mood
- anxiety
- concentration
- sex drive
- pain
- memory and cognitive health
All attendees will receive free gifts:
- A packet of delicious holiday recipes to boost mood (including no-cook recipes!), drawn from a range of cultures.
- A tool you can use to track the connection between your mood and food
- An evidence-based guided audio meditation to use in a moment when life is hard or you're being hard on yourself
In our time together we will:
- Practice eating meditation
- Light a candle to illuminate the winter
- Practice self-compassion meditation
- Do a brief ritual to grieve those lost to COVID-19, state violence, and violence against transgender people
- Make a toast to bring in the joys we seek in 2021
